
When he was little, he started taking photos, under the influence of father and grandfather. As soon as he entered Nihon University, he started taking more and more photos of sports,mainly ball sports such as football and tennis. While a university student, he worked as a contract photographer for Sankei Newspaper, which is one of the biggest newspaper companys in Japan. Also working for Magazine House and Kyodo News Service as the Assistant Photographer for 4 years straight. He was the exclusive contract photographer at Hakone Marathon Relay Race 2008. During university, he received three awards--the Japanese Press Photography Confederation Award , the FUJI FILM Award, and the Presidentfs Award from Nihon University. After graduating from university, he got interested in "communication" as he expanded his field when he acted on and moved to Vancouver. Since then, he has been working as a freelancer, taking all kinds of photos like Major League Baseball, people's daily lives, winter and ice sports, food, buildings,and so many views of life. While living in Vancouver, he also started working as a journalist seeking work for the Olympic Winter Games 2010. He is on a roll searching and collecting the local news aggressively as journalist, as photographer.
